Marriage Certificate Translation
- Have you been married abroad and do you need your marriage certificate translated to change your name on your passport, your bank account or your driving licence?
- Are you applying for a visa and do you need your marriage certificate translated for the Home Office?
- Do you need a translation of your marriage certificate for divorce purposes?
We will provide you with a certified or notarised translation of your marriage certificate, depending on your requirements. Our translations are accepted by the Passport Office, the DVLA, banks, courts, embassies and other authorities in the UK and abroad.
Delivery
The translated documents will be returned to you by recorded delivery, or if the translation is urgent, we can send your documents by express delivery for a small additional charge. We can also e-mail a copy to you for your records.
A certified translation can often be delivered back to you within 3 days of receipt, depending on the post. A notarised translation may take a little longer depending on how quickly an appointment with a notary public can be made.
For a certified translation, we can work from a scanned copy of your marriage certificate. For a notarised translation, we would require the original document.
Cost
The cost of your translation depends on the number of words to be translated. Our prices start from just £50 plus VAT and we accept payments by all major credit or debit cards, by cheque or by bank transfer.
